and it also like really illuminates the mixing of reality and illustration as magic
and the traumatic narrative allegory using magical elements to veil the truth
the illustration IS a depiction of reality and by combining mixed media photo elements you get an uncanny sense of being unable to discern where to draw the line of fable/magic/fantasy vs. reality
